👋 This summer (2022) one morning our garage door (just before the school run) decided to fall off. Literally just sheared off the hinges (or whatever they are called) and fell on top of our car! DISASTER!!!
We knew we needed to replace the garage door, but we were thinking maybe medium term, 5 years-ish. So, we got some quotes and went with ‘Access Garage Doors Yorkshire Ltd’ – https://www.accessgaragedoorsystems.co.uk/
The garage door we ordered was:
– Hormann
– M-Ribbed Sectional
– Sandgrain finish
– RAL 7016 Anthracite grey
– Electric Auto Closing
The new garage door looks awesome and the guys from Access Garage Doors did an awesome job! Really neat, professional and tidy job! Finish was excellent and they were super-fast! We would highly recommend.
So below is a picture of what we walked out to just before the school run! What a nightmare! We had to prop the door up using ladders and nervously reverse the car out
To keep the garage “safe” and dry we quickly got some tarpaulin attached to the garage frame using a staple gun!!
We had to wait a few months, but the day finally came for the new door system to be installed.
